1. Tour Deposit

The tour deposit ranges from RM 500 to RM 1000 per person, depending on the package price. Full payment is required 45 days to 2 months before the departure date. Payments can be made to Era Suria Holiday Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd by cheque, online transfer, or cash. Failure to pay the full amount will result in cancelation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.

2. Tour Information and Prices

Prices set in website may change without prior notice. User should always verify with us to see updated prices which could be slightly different than the one displayed.

The tour dates are set based on the suitable season, any new date that you consider would be suitable for holiday can be discussed with our team. We are more than happy to cater to your holiday desire based on your time preference.

3. Amendment Charges

3.1 Free Independent Traveller (FIT)

Once the tour is confirmed, any changes made to the reservation will be charged RM 50 per person per change.

No changes can be made 5 days prior to the travelling date.

3.2 For Group Tour Packages

Upon confirmation of the tour, no changes can be made within 10 days of the travelling date

If there is any request from the member of the tour to return earlier or later than the date set by the tour, it will be subjected to the airline’s terms and conditions.

Changing the entire reservation is considered cancelling the original reservation.

4. Cancellation Charges for Cancellation Made by Tour Member

4.1 For FIT Tour Packages

Cancellation should be made in writing to avoid any future misunderstanding. If we receive notice of cancellation 30 days prior to departure date, minimum RM 50.00 or 10% of the tour deposit (whichever is lower) per person will be charged.

If notice of cancellation is received 29 days or less before the departure date, the following charges will apply:

  •  15 – 29 working days before the date of departure: 50% tour deposit
  • 08 – 14 working days before the date of departure: 20% tour fare
  • 03 – 07 working days before the date of departure: 40% of tour fare
  • 02 – working days before the date of departure: 100% of tour fare

The respective airline’s cancellation policy on special promotional fare shall be applied to the cancellation charges as stated in the clause above. Please note, airline ticket is restricted and subject to the airlines’ terms and conditions. Era Suria Holiday Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. are not responsible nor to bear any charges that may occur due to cancellation made by the customer.

Any alteration in travel routing or change of date of travel by any passenger is solely at passenger’s own risk. The company and its agent shall not be hold responsible for any inconvenience caused and extra expenses incurred.

4.2 Cancellation

Group Tour Packages

Cancellation should be made in writing to avoid any future misunderstanding. If we received notice of cancellation 30 days prior departure date, minimum RM 50.00 or 10% of the tour deposit (whichever is lower) per person will be charged.

If notice of the cancellation is received 44 working days or less before the travelling date, the charges below apply:

22-44 working days before the date of departure – Forfeiture of tour Deposit

15-21 working days before the date of departure – 35% of tour fare

08-14 working days before the date of departure – 50% of tour fare

03-07 working days before the date of departure – 75% of tour fare

02 working days or less before the date of departure – 100% of tour fare

The respective airline’s cancellation policy on special promotional fare shall be applied to the cancellation charges as stated in the clause above. Please note, airline ticket is restricted and subject to the airlines’ terms and conditions. Era Suria Holiday Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. are not to bear any charges that may occur due to cancellation made by the customer.

Any alteration in travel routing or change of date of travel by any passenger is solely at own risk. The company and its agent shall not be hold responsible for any inconvenience caused and for extra expenses incurred.

5.1 Cancellation by Era Suria Holiday Travel & Tours

FIT Tour Packages

The company reserves the right to cancel the tour due to any natural disaster, act of god, war, strike, riot, or order from the Government of Malaysia which is beyond its control.

The company shall recommend alternative tours preferably the same destination or other tours. If the clients decide not to proceed with alternative tours, all money paid, other than administrative fee will be refunded to the client.

Group Tour Packages

The company reserves the right to cancel the tour due to any natural disaster, act of god, war, strike, riot, or order from the Government of Malaysia which is beyond its control.

The company shall recommend alternative tours preferably the same destination or other tours. If the clients decide not to proceed with alternative tours, all money paid, other than administrative fee will be refunded to the client.

In the event of cancellation by Era Suria Holiday Travel & Tour due to insufficient passengers or inability to secure seats or accommodation, the company will refund the money paid and pay compensation. The terms are as follows:

Cancelation Received Charges Per Person

08 – 14 working days before the date of departure – Full refund of tour fare and compensation of RM 50 per person.

01 – 07 working days before the date of departure – Full refund tour fare and a compensation of RM 75.00 per person.

On date of departure – Full refund of tour fare and a compensation of RM 100.00 per person.

6.0 TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

6.1 Tour Members’ Responsibilities

A tour member must have:

An international passport or any other recognized travel documents which should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return to the country of origin.

The necessary visa and vaccination and health certificates required by authorities of the countries that you wish to visit.

6.2 Company’s Responsibilities

The company undertakes to: –
Advice tour members on what documentation is required.

Wherever possible, assists passengers in obtaining the necessary visa. However, the company will not guarantee the vis approval of any visa application.

6.3 Relevant Fees and Charges

Service charges and visa fees levied shall be borne entirely by tour members.

6.4 Rejection of Visa or Travel Documents

In the event of visa application or necessary exit permit rejection, a refund of the tour fare will be issued, with administrative fees deducted.

6.5 Refusal of Entry

The company bears no responsibility or liability for any expenses, reimbursement, or tour price refund in the event that a tour member is denied entry or deported by the relevant immigration authorities.This may result from possession of unlawful items, improper travel documents, or other causes, as well as behavior and activities deemed detrimental by the foreign immigration authority.

7 TOUR INFORMATION AND PRICES

7.1 The prices displayed are accurate as at the time of publication. The prices are subject to change due to various increase in airfares, hotel rates, exchange rates, transportation costs, government tax, etc. Thus, the company has the right to increase the tour price on condition that it informs the customers before making confirmation on the tour.

7.2 The company agrees for the following to be included from the tour fare:- Return air ticket, not including all airport taxes and whatever applicable taxes.

Hotel accommodation, based on

iv. Twin sharing basis (2 persons per room)

v. Single supplement (person stays alone, should pay the single supplement)

vi. Triple sharing (3 persons per room). **Child tour fare is based on child who is 2 years but not more than 12 years of age, sharing twin room with two adults.

All meals, sightseeing and other items mentioned in the itinerary.

All sightseeing tours and transfers are based on sit-in-coach basis.

Items not included in tour fare

vi.         Laundry

vii.        Food and beverage not on regular menu

viii.       Optional excursions

ix.         Porterage at airports and hotels

x.          All items of personal nature.

8. REDUNDS OF UNUSED SERVICES

Refund will not be made to clients in regards to airfare, accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services that is included in the tour fare, which is not utilized by the tour member due to personal reason.

9. BAGGAGE

Free airline baggage allowance is provided by the airlines and the conditions may differ from one airline to another. This also applies to hand-carry luggage. Era Suria Holiday Travel & Tours as travel agent will advice the clients on the conditions.

10. CHANGES

Airlines schedule or local conditions may cause sightseeing tours, hotels and route to be changed. If this shall occur, the company will make alternative arrangement deemed fit to the local conditions.

11. RIGHT TO REJECT

The company reserve the right to cancel or withdraw any itinerary, reservation made by clients, decline to accept or retain a person as tour member if he seemed to be endangering the health, safety or compromise the comfort or enjoyment for others on the tour.

The company also reserves the right to cancel the reservation for any other reason ranging from airline carrier, hotel, or contracts that refuses to allow participants from joining the tours. If this shall occur, the company will refund the tour members money, paid less the amount of services already utilized, administration and cancellation fees.

12. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMPANY

The company and its associated agents will be responsible for the services provided that include transportation, accommodation, meals, entertainment as advertised. The company will pay appropriate compensation as determined by the Commissioner of Tourism in cases, which after investigation it is found that the company did not provide services as published in its agreement.

13 TRAVEL INSURANCE

Members joining tours are encouraged to buy travel insurance for themselves in case of any sickness, loss of money, cancellation, flight delays or loss baggage.
