Visa Free-Entry to Sri Lanka for 35 Countries

Sri Lanka is now offering Free-Visa entry for countries from these 35 countries. This is effective from 1st October to 31st March 2025. Important to note, tourists would still need to apply for visa on arrival.

Countries eligible for free-visa:

Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States.

As for other countries, visa is to be applied and pay the requisite fees.

Tourist Visa – 30 days: USD 50

Tourist Visa – Standard Visitor Visa (60 days)

SAARC Countries: USD 35

Non-SAARC Countries: USD 75
